36 Lime Studios

36 Lime Street Studios

36 Lime Street is home to a varied collection of Artists, Craftworkers, Designer/ Makers, Theatre Groups and Musicians/ Recording Studios.
Sunday 24th July

36 Lime Street Studios are holding free workshops open to Children and families and have a gallery exhibition of crafts and painting at 36 Lime Street.
Many of the Studios engage and work in the Community through Schools, Community Centres and Hospitals. Artists and Crafts people from 36 Lime Street will again be involved in the Ouseburn Festival:
clocks
Fiona Gray ( Designer ) will be making Sun Dials, Clocks and crafts from various materials including Card and Coloured papers.

Theresa Easton will be exhibiting mini-books, chinaware & bags.

Tessa Holland ( Jeweller ) will be making " Tanglecreatures " animals and other beasts made from a single strand of electrical wire.

Heaton voices

We are a community choir open to all. We sing in fourheaton voices-part harmony and our repertoire is mainly pop,rock, world and folk music and sometimes a little bit of classical. The audience will recognise our rock and pop songs and perhaps the folk songs too, but the arrangements by our Musiacal Director make them a little different. We hope to have everyone Dancing in the Street on Sunday . 

Phoenix Martial Arts

Sunday 24th July afternoon
Demonstrators from Phoenix will be doing a small demo of some of the activities they do in class, high energy kicking and punching drills and performance work.  A couple of adults will do some forms and tricks and flips.

Mystery Tour

Visit many of the sights and people of the Ouseburn Valley

Be surprised! There are more sights and mysteries in the Ousburn than you ever knew. Follow the Tour to find some of the wild animals, the crafts and hand-made products and walkways through the Ouseburn.

A programme of live music all day

Hear the music of The Lake poets, Adam J. Schoefield, Waskerley Way, Heaton Voices, Fantasy Rainbow, Zumba, APU and a range of buskers near the Village Green and elsewhere through the afternoon.
